Impressive Italian Baroque style mirror frame; heavily carved & bi-level wood design with beige enamel antiqued by age, subtly embracing the giltwood. The elaborate, perforated, acanthus foliature emanates from the striking gilt dentilated mirror plate perimeter, with a crowning shell adorning the pinnacle. Likely from Florence, circa 1890. Dynamic scale with large silhouette at 4'6" tall and 3'6" wide.
