Italian Antique day bed, elaborately hand carved with swans. Solid dark walnut. Piedmont, ca 1820. Wonderful details on swans and foot. Only the front face is carved, the back it is plain but finished as well. There are a  couple of old restorations on the curved side panels and it is missing three of the four original screws.
