Large Mediterranean antique "Pithari"  pottery amphora, wonderful weathered white lime patina with lichen deposits; it was once used as storage and shipping jars for wine or olive oil.  Tapered shape and spigot toward the bottom, 3-handled, with geometric and midline scoring. Orange base.
